FCS II Pivot PG 9" Longboard Fin – Charcoal

The FCS II Pivot PG 9" Longboard Fin in Charcoal is an upright Performance Glass single fin designed for traditional longboarding, tight pivot turns and noseriding.

Featuring minimal sweep and a relatively narrow base, the original FCS Pivot creates a loose, manoeuvrable feel that allows you to step back onto the tail and redirect your longboard through tighter turns. FCS specifically recommends the larger 9" and 10" Pivot fins for logs and noseriding.

Pivot, Trim & Noseride

The upright template is designed to help the board pivot tightly in the pocket, before setting the rail into the wave face and moving forward into trim or onto the nose.

The 9" size is a great option for surfers wanting the hold and stability of a traditional longboard single fin while retaining a responsive, manoeuvrable feel from the tail.

It's particularly well suited to traditional longboards, logs and noseriders, where you're regularly transitioning between turning, trimming and cross-stepping.

Performance Glass Construction

Constructed from Performance Glass (PG), the Pivot is machine-cut from layers of solid fibreglass. This creates a stiff, responsive fin with a dependable flex pattern that maintains its integrity under load.

The result is a solid connection through the tail with the control needed when you're further forward on the board.

FCS II Tool-Less System

The FCS II Tool-Less Longboard System allows the Pivot to be installed, removed and repositioned without a traditional screw, plate or fin key.

You can also adjust the fin's position within the box to fine-tune the balance between manoeuvrability and hold. The system is designed to fit most existing longboard fin boxes without requiring a replacement box.
