Built using O'Neill's featherlight TB3X and TB3 neoprene, the HyperFreak delivers exceptional stretch with a soft, comfortable feel. TB3X is strategically used through the arms, shoulders and back, maximising freedom of movement through the areas that matter most when paddling. The chest and legs use TB3 neoprene for an effective combination of flexibility, comfort and insulation.

The 2mm construction with long sleeves makes this springsuit particularly useful for warmer water and transitional conditions. You get additional protection across the arms and upper body while retaining the freedom and lighter feel of a spring wetsuit.

O'Neill's FUZE chest zip entry uses a free-floating zipper panel with an anti-flush barrier and drain holes to help minimise water entry without restricting upper-body movement. A double-seal neoprene collar adds comfort around the neck.

The HyperFreak's minimal seam design uses larger neoprene panels and fewer seams to improve flexibility, fit and comfort. Glued and blind-stitched (GBS) seams provide a durable water-resistant seal, with recycled TB3X internal taping adding seam strength while maintaining the exceptional stretch of the suit.

O'Neill's Seamless Paddle Zones further reduce restriction through the upper body, making the HyperFreak particularly comfortable through long paddling sessions.

The latest HyperFreak also incorporates more considered materials, including recycled yarns, recycled tyre-derived materials, recycled oyster shells and solvent-free lamination as part of O'Neill's Blue programme.
