Adventure Sixty Forty 10'0 Stand Up Paddleboard – Blue
Adventure Paddleboarding Sixty Forty 10'0 Stand Up Paddleboard – Two Tone Blue
The Adventure Paddleboarding Sixty Forty 10'0 Stand Up Paddleboard is a versatile all-round SUP designed to transition seamlessly between surfing and flat-water paddling. With a design philosophy of approximately 60% surf and 40% flat water, the Sixty Forty is an excellent choice for paddlers who want one board for catching waves, coastal exploring, fitness paddling and relaxed sessions on calmer water.
At 10'0 x 33" x 4 3/4" with 190L of volume, the Sixty Forty offers plenty of stability and flotation while retaining the responsiveness needed to surf. Its relatively full outline and generous width through the middle create a stable platform for paddling, while increased curve through the rail line and a pulled-in tail help the board pivot and turn smoothly on a wave.
Designed for Surf & Flat Water
Unlike a dedicated flat-water stand up paddleboard, the Sixty Forty uses a surf-focused rocker with additional lift through the nose and tail. This helps the board fit naturally into the curve of a wave and improves manoeuvrability when surfing.
Through the middle, a more relaxed rocker maintains flow and forward acceleration when you're paddling on flatter water, giving the board its versatile crossover character.
Volume is concentrated through the mid-section for stability, while the nose and tail are more finely foiled to improve turning sensitivity. Soft, high-volume rails provide a forgiving feel and additional stability, particularly when stepping back and pivoting the board from the tail.
The bottom contours are equally versatile. A subtle displacement hull helps reduce slapping in choppier conditions, while a single concave through the middle maintains speed down the line. A double-concave Vee through the tail improves rail-to-rail response when surfing.
Moulded Epoxy Construction
The Sixty Forty uses Adventure Paddleboarding's durable Moulded Epoxy (MX) construction. A medium-density EPS core is combined with five layers of fibreglass — three on the deck and two on the bottom — and a specialised epoxy resin containing carbon strands.
The entire structure is fused together under heat and pressure, creating a durable and well-weighted stand up paddleboard designed to handle regular use across both surf and flat-water environments.
Practical features include a comfortable cavity carry handle, soft deck traction with an integrated arch bar and tail kick, nose plugs for creating a forward storage area, and an additional nose plug for mounting a GoPro.

Why You’ll Love It
The Adventure Sixty Forty 10'0 SUP is a strong choice if you don't want to choose between a dedicated surf SUP and a flat-water paddleboard. Its 190L volume and 33" width provide the stability needed for recreational paddling, while its surf-focused rocker, pulled-in tail and bottom contours allow it to turn and perform when there's swell.
That makes it particularly useful for New Zealand paddlers who might spend one day cruising calm water and the next catching waves at the beach. Instead of owning separate boards for each discipline, the Sixty Forty is designed specifically to handle both.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION
|
Construction |
Molded Epoxy - PU Molded Epoxy (MX) construction delivers structural integrity through the high pressure molding of multiple components. The components being; a medium density EPS core, 5 layers of Fiberglass (3 x deck, 2 x bottom) and a special epoxy resin that’s mixed with carbon strands. Encapsulating the whole board, and forming an outer skin that bonds through to the core, this combination of materials is fused together for over 4 hours under constant heat and pressure. The result is a very durable, well weighted board, and the high pressure molding process ensures that each board is identical to our specifications. |
