The Creative Army The General 9'6 Epoxy Soft Top Longboard combines the stability and forgiving feel of a soft top surfboard with the smooth trimming, nose riding and flowing performance of a traditional longboard. Designed by former World Longboard Champion Josh Constable in collaboration with Ocean & Earth, The General is a versatile longboard built for easy wave catching and plenty of time on the nose.

At 9'6 x 23 3/4" x 3 1/8" with 92L of volume, The General provides excellent flotation, stability and paddle power. The generous dimensions help you get into waves early, while the modern rocker is designed to deliver precise turns, fast trimming and excellent tip time.

That combination makes the 9'6 an appealing soft top longboard for a wide range of surfers. It's forgiving enough for surfers developing their longboarding skills while providing the length, glide and performance experienced longboarders want when cruising, trimming and nose riding.

The Epoxy Soft construction goes beyond a conventional foam surfboard. A grippy EVA textured deck is combined with layers of 6oz E-Glass and a 0.5mm wood veneer, creating a highly water-resistant and durable deck with excellent grip and impact resistance.

Inside, the lightweight EPS core is reinforced with twin stringers, increasing strength and helping the board maintain its rocker. Underneath, a 1mm HDPE performance slick with two layers of 6oz E-Glass adds durability, strength and a smooth surface through the water.

The 9'6 uses a single-fin setup with a 10" centre fin box, complementing the board's longboard character and encouraging smooth, flowing lines. The single-fin configuration works naturally with the 9'6 length for trimming, cruising and traditional-style longboarding.
