The Creative Army The General 8'6 Epoxy Soft Top Longboard is a versatile, easy-to-ride surfboard that combines the forgiving feel of a soft top with the flow, trimming ability and performance of a modern longboard. Designed by former World Longboard Champion Josh Constable in collaboration with Ocean & Earth, The General is built for surfers who want easy wave catching without giving up the ability to turn, trim and explore the nose.

At 8'6 x 23" x 3" with 79L of volume, The General provides plenty of flotation and paddle power for catching waves early. Its modern rocker is designed to deliver precise turns, fast trimming and plenty of tip time, making it a great option for progressing surfers as well as experienced longboarders looking for a fun and forgiving soft top surfboard.

Unlike a traditional foam beginner board, The General uses Ocean & Earth's Epoxy Soft construction to provide a more refined surfing experience. The grippy EVA textured deck combines E-Glass and a 0.5mm wood veneer for excellent grip, impact resistance and durability.

Inside, a lightweight EPS core with twin stringers provides strength while helping the board maintain its rocker. Underneath, a 1mm HDPE performance slick reinforced with E-Glass adds durability and provides a smooth surface through the water.

The 8'6 is configured as a single-fin longboard, with a 10" centre fin box and supplied 9" PU single fin. This keeps the setup simple and complements the board's smooth, flowing character, making it well suited to trimming, cruising and traditional-style longboarding.
